http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoop_%28term%29 (so you don't have to post up the link M. Dot). You'd think it'd be out-scoop someone, but whatever.

It's nice to see I'm not the only person feeling bleek though.

@ Vik,

I wonder if he "re packaged" a pre existing porno.

I wonder how the ladies on the cover feel.

@ M. Dot

M(aking)E(asy)M(oney)P(impin')H(oes)I(n)S(tyle) isn't very feminist though, No? I guess there are exceptions to every rule.

As long as you don't expect a classic album going in, bleek is straight. Consistent even.

And I wouldn't mind "running" into Amerie this summer.

No, I guess I read too much into "Thugs, Feminists, & Hip-Hop."

The anthemic feel to Jeezy's music gives me, wait for it, "MOTIVATION"
It's the only time I can listen to his music.

Marshall's my name btw and I'm guy.

You didn't read too MUCH into anything.

Don't get it twisted.

You are presuming that I CANNOT reconcile conflicting notions.

As a human being we are forced to do so.

When have you done it recently?

I meant both comments as jokes(i make alot of those), sorry my sense of humor doesn't translate as well in written form. I'm not here to expose chinks in your armor(views). But I knew exactly what you meant from jump.

Your right we are forced to reconcile conflicting notions.

Your last question really has me thinking, so I'll have to get back to you on that.

smalll clarification, all I meant was I'm not trying find them(or imply i did.)

And I have an answer now(actually what I thought of a few hours ago.)

As a christian (non-denominational) I do believe that abortion is wrong. However, I have and never will vote against it. Being a man, I really don't think I have a say in this matter. I will say that I'm against it though. It's one thing to share your faith with others and another to impose it on them.

no disrespect and all mz but that's like a white person saying they don't have anything to do with racism since it only affects people of color. An aversive racist can be a white person with the best of intentions towards Blacks but their inability to see race in a racialized society perpetuates their own racism. They are unable to see the unearned benefits that white privilege contributes to their life chances, therefore they can not see the adverse form of white privilege that contributes to Blacks’ life chances. This lack of insight to one’s own participation in racism is crucial to fighting and undoing racism. Denial of racism doesn’t discard it.

racism=sexism=systematic oppression

===================================

None taken, but I think it's a bit of a reach to compare racism & abortion. In racism, the people affected have no control in it. Abortion(in most cases) is a personal choice. I do understand that there is the psychological aspect of dealing with an abortion and I've watched my mom deal with that. But I can't see myself telling someone I don't know they can't have an abortion. I'm willing to say why I think they shouldn't have one, but in the end the choice is up to them.

Bleek's got flow, cadence and delivery down pat. I'd say its dang near perfect if not perfect each time out...never a flaw there most times..

but..subject matter and style (in the sense of uniqueness) is where he's lacked. Can't blame him too much I guess *shrug* if that's all he knows?

i was comparing your sense of helplessness as a man in a paternalistic/sexist/racist society in which you as a man, receive unearned benefits because of your gender sometimes regardless of race. People in dominant postitions have an equal amount to say about the subject as the person in the subornate position.

Eh, abortion...seeing as crime is socially constructed, i.e. murder...body someone on the street and you might be facing a mandatory min. sentence (or death row if you happen to be of a subordinate class and phenotype), body someone in iraq and you'd be considered one of the most patriotic americans this country has ever seen. Now bodying your unborn child will be scrutinized for lack of personal responsibility without any scrutiny of the collective social responsibility.

"but I think it's a bit of a reach to compare racism & abortion"

Do you see the interconnections of sexism and abortion? Racism and sexism? Capitalism and systematic abuses of power through oppression?

"Abortion(in most cases) is a personal choice. I do understand that there is the psychological aspect of dealing with an abortion and I've watched my mom deal with that."

Where'd u get these stats? I think even in your moms case she might be an individual but follows collective patterns which may/may not have led her to the choice of abortion

=========================

I'm not passing anything I say off as stats. I'm only speaking on what i've been around and taught. Abortion(like) murder is something that the person has to deal with for the rest of their life.

People in dominant postitions have an equal amount to say about the subject as the person in the subornate position.
===================================

You are right, but I'm speaking more on an individual person's life vs. the subjet in general. Maybe you don't forget, but I think people forget that these issues affect real people. I do see the connections you make, but unfortunately I don't always tie them together.

I feel like i'm going against you guys with one hand behind my back. I enjoy it though, because I wan't to be able to see things from all viewpoints.
