Corey Booker has Murder Problem on his Hands.

TwitThis

Blood is flowing.

Oakland.

New Orleans.

Philly.

Newark.

NEWARK, Aug. 6 — As a weekend of bloodshed gave way to a day of mourning, the sleep deprivation and public battering were beginning to take a toll on Mayor Cory A. Booker, his face a curtain of sadness and fatigue. A group of protesters on the steps of City Hall were calling for his resignation, while a large huddle of reporters down the street waited with unanswerable questions about Saturday night’s fatal shooting of three college students in a West Ward schoolyard.
Moments before Mr. Booker was to step in front of the cameras, a mayoral aide noticed two middle-aged women and a man sitting silently among the crowd — relatives of Dashon Harvey, 20, one of the shooting victims. Officials quickly ushered them to a back room to meet Mr. Booker, who offered his condolences and promised that the police would stop at nothing to find the killers.
I have decided, that once school gets settled for me, I am applying for Fullbright
to create a easily measurable and copyable program
that addresses Black parenting, child literacy, and student/baby advocacy in a hands on fashion, trill talk.

Because this sh*t has to be addressed head on.

AND NOT F*CKING TV SHOW is going to do it. WE ARE GOING TO DO IT.

Who's with me?

Is Corey doomed?

That's part of the problem. People want programs. There ain't no program.

There just ain't.

This shit ain't easy. It's gonna take work, and people coming together to address the ills of our communities.

You can't throw money at it.

You can't program it.

You can't panel discussion it.

You can't research and analyze it.

But you can organize around it, build relationships among the people involved, and allow them to craft solutions, which will be implemented b/c in coming together, the people create the political will to get their agenda adopted.

The answers are in the people.

Triller talk.

And I see someone has her Times fetish back.

my baby cousin won the mcarthur genius grant for implementing a program for incarcerated mothers...half a million dollar grant to a single mother, with a disability, and barely a high school education.

There is always hope, we must never ever give up. We are the descendants of those who survived the middle passage, the harshest conditions of slavery known to man, unfathomable racism and even still..there is hope!

J is a sweet bears.

Glad your back.

I think you are my, ahem, oldest reader! LOL.

Im percolating on that idea.

Basically, I would treat the hood, the way white liberal do gooders treat third world countries and their stocks.

Approach Black mommas in a methodical way.
---Make sure they Know how to interface with the institutions, school, the city, popo.

---Teach them the benchmarks of language and reading for their youngings.
Show 'em how chinese mommas do it.
All up in they babies gristle. From day one.

---Show em how to create educational and professional goals and strategies for their children.

My rationale is if you get the mommas/parents, you get the babies.

Yes my cousin is from The City, you probably do know her...we have some brilliant minds in the family, I wish I was one of them:-)

But on the real educating mothers is the key. It's a known fact that a child's sense of education and knowledge is passed on directly from a mother when and where a mother is present.

My grandmother instituted nighttime child care for prostitutes in the mission back in the late 70's and early 80's so streetwalkers wouldn't get their kids taken away. The Panther party started with feeding kids breakfast before school so they could learn properly, the impoverished mother needs all the help she can get because the streets are blood sucking vampires, always trying to get a jugular hold on our children!

Oh, Corey is doomed.

No need to even think otherwise.

I think that we have a long way to go before we can all address this problem head on.

First step is admitting that there is a problem.

And to be honest, some people don't even think that this is a big issue. Why?

People don't consider a problem A PROBLEM, until it happens to them. And by then, it's too late.

How do we face this head on, to detour that way of thinking?

I think M.Dot has got her feet in the right direction. We, as in the "older" crowd, have to pull the youngin's up by the boot straps.

Even if they don't want to themselves.

Because, in the grand scheme of things, black males are considered worthless by society at large.

First and foremost, Mayor Booker is NOT doomed. It was some illegal mofo immigants who did this sheet to them beautiful kids. Further, one of the perpetrators was out on bail for REPEATEDLY raping a 4 year old. Problem: the prosecutor in newark is an idiotic douchebag. Problem: Sharpe James ran Newark, NJ ofr 26 years before the Honorable Corey Booker came to town. Sharpe James was a "brother"...a whoremonger and an evil man at that. Sharpe James is the REASON why Newark is in the condition it is in now. Corey Booker is still sifting through the rubble. But trust and believe, Newark will rise from the ashes like a Pheonix. Ya dig.

Black mothers need to stop cocking them legs open to various baby daddies and start focusing on the babies they already have. Black fathers need to start acting like they are valuable by not trying to emulate everything they see on TV. Read the word of God. Study it, matter of fact. To everything there is a season.

The white man cannot be blamed for all of the ills in our communities. The first step to progress is responsibility.

Pray for Corey Booker. Pray for the families who lost their loved ones. And put those fences up so no more illegals come into the country WE BUILT with blood, sweat and tears.
